| About Me |
| Winnie is a sweet 9 year old border collie with a big heart. She has lived her life in northern Arizona (Kingman area) with her provider, who entered a supervised care situation and could no longer care for Winnie. But she's making the best of the situation and just taking life as it comes. There's a lot left in Winnie and she'd like to have a family to love again.
Winnie is an older border collie, that is very kind and loving. Winnie loves to give kisses. Winnie is very gentle and good with kids. Winnie was a family dog for many years, however she doesn't appear to know much in the way of normal dog commands (sit, down, wait, etc.) She is a little overweight and we're working on that. Winnie loves to play bubbles in the back yard and tries to catch them. She also loves walks, and can build up to longer walks after she gets used to them. Winnie does not seem to know how to play catch or fetch anything but we are working on training her on that. She herds our dog when our dog goes out for the frisbee. Winnie is house broken and feels secure in her crate to sleep at night, and loves to lay in the sun in the backyard during the day. Winnie has a lot of good years left and needs a loving family or companion to remain active.
