| About Me |
| Poppet is a medium sized border collie? mix. He has a smooth coat, mostly white on his body, with large black patches and floppy ears. He is happy, smart, willing to please, though sometimes a little stubborn. After Poppet relaxes in his environment he does become playful. Poppet gets along with other dogs if they leave him alone and give him a chance to know them. Poppet will react if other dogs or humans act aggressively toward him. For that reason we think Poppet would be better in a home without children. He's a wonderful dog but would do best in a very predictable and stable environment. We are working on socialization with Poppet around other dogs and people. Poppet has come a long way since we first met him. He is currently being fostered in the Tucson area.

| Poppet was adopted out from Pima Co. Animal Care and Control, then the new owners returned him because they did not want to pay to treat him for kennel cough. |
