About Me
Adopted !!! Pita came to us from Yuma Humane Society where she was a favorite of the staff and volunteer dog-walkers. She loves to play and needs some work on a leash as she is an excitable pup. Someone dumped her in the desert or lost her in the desert, but no one came looking for her. She is wild, crazy, fun, and playing with toys-kind of like a tornado. Pita is a large, outgoing and very happy smooth coat BC mix puppy. She is learning basic commands and is a very quick learner. She is crate trained, doggie door trained, sits and knows “out”. She did well with her first bath but is a bit timid with touching her feet. She does well with other dogs. Not sure about cats. She does jump up but not on people this may be intimidating to small children. Pita is also affectionate and loving. This girl has a passion for the water. She figured out how to swim in only minutes and once she did, she did not want to stop. She has been off the diving dock and shows great promise for skill in "Dock Dogs" with her athleticism and love for the water.
