| About Me |
| ADOPTED! Rudy is a shy young boy, who needs some
time to feel
comfortable with you. Once you win his confidence he is very
sweet and affectionate. He has a strong need for company, a
person or another dog will do, but he doesn't do well left
on his own. He is a very soft and sensitive boy and needs
someone who understands his nature, speaks softly to him and
avoids sudden gestures. He is very good with other dogs and
children and, in his cautious manner, likes to meet people
too. Most of his shyness will go away with enough
socialization and we are working on building his confidence.
So far, he hasn't shown much interest in toys or balls. At
home, he is quiet and well mannered. He is used to being on
furniture and will sneak on the bed at night and snuggle up
tight. Expect to be showered with kisses in the morning. He
is eager to go for walks and car rides and has good leash
manners for his age.
Rudy has demonstrated that he can jump a 6ft block wall and
will need someone who can manage a jumper.
Will only be adopted to a family either with another dog or
where someone is home much of the time. He loves to play
with other dogs, and he can break out of a crate if left
alone with no other dogs or people around. |

| How the AZBCR Found Me |
| Rudy came to us at the request of a sheltie rescue in
Oklahoma. They originally thought he was a sheltie, but after
they had him in foster, they realized that he is all border
collie and they wanted him placed by a rescue who better knows
the breed. |
