About Me
ADOPTION PENDING!! Banya (which means "whiteness") is a smallish female, smooth-coated merle border collie with some herding in her breeding. She is registered with the American Border Collie Association and was given up to rescue at the age of 7 months because of a serious family illness. She is crate-trained, does not yet know how to walk on a leash, likes other dogs and loves to swim. She is timid in new situations, but settles in quickly. Doesn't appear to have a lot of experience outside the house or on a leash. More as we get to know her.
