1/21/10 ADOPTION PENDING!!! Nick is a beautiful merle colored Border Collie/Aussie Mix. He’s an extremely well behaved and balanced dog with a moderate drive. Don’t get me wrong, he loves the 4 mile jogs, the dog park and long hikes we go on, but he’s also just as comfortable relaxing at home with his temporary brothers and family. He’s very smart and knows his place. He’s very dog/cat friendly and doesn’t get bothered by them trying to be dominant. Nick is very loving and loves to cuddle. He’s very loyal and a true companion. As I mentioned before, he’s so well behaved, he has a way of asking for permission before doing certain things. Nick NEVER begs. Whoever had Nick prior to us not only trained him very well but also took very good care of him. Nick would be good with a whole host of different types of families. From active families with children to seniors who will provide moderate exercise, and who are looking for a loyal friend and a great companion! We’ve had people over for BBQ’s recently and everyone has commented on what a great dog Nick is and how well behaved he is. He’ll enjoy making you proud of him!

Nick was on the euthanasia list at the Maricopa County Westside Shelter. He was an unclaimed stray dog.
